the final chapter of the cabin is posted at broke back slash
this is just a little note to say thank you so much to all the people who have been kind to me, who have encouraged me and have taken the time to read this story and those who have left comments as well a double thank you.
I am truly sorry there has been such a long gap to this final chapter but it really has been a hard thing for me to come back to.
and there is much to thank my dear beta my_lil_darlin
without whom this would have been a much poorer offering.

I feel as if a thousand winds have blown through me today and yet I know my feelings are nothing compared to the people who are missing their son and their brother and their father and their lover and their friend today, but I needed to say something none the less.

When someone dies young, with so much life yet to live there really aren't any words that can make it anything less terrible. And when they are as talented as Heath it seems to me they should be granted a charmed life too and yet so often the opposite is true.

But I always find the words of this poem are something I wholeheartedly want to believe in to ease some of the sadness.
